Drove me crazy all morning searching the internet, but no help was found. Another error I received was a "We could not connect to the Remote Desktop Gateway because of an internal error." User accounts were not locked, passwords were not expired, pinging RDG from client machine fine, NPS logging had the request and authorizations. I was receiving errors like the RDP server can not be found, check that it is on and RDP is enabled. Tried resetting their password, with new password it was the same. I had the user log in correctly and they reported it would freeze up or take a while of circling and then the user would receive an error. This means the DNS, servers, and all networking settings were still correctly configure. I was still connecting using the app on IOS, and had all the users connecting as usual from Windows devices.

After an update and some DNS Changes, all the users were still able to connect, except for our users using the MS RDP app on Chromebooks. We used the Remote Desktop APP (RDP 8 & the newer RDP v10) for all the remote users that used IOS, MACs, or Chromebooks for RDP access.
